Name That Tune had its conceptual origins in an earlier radio and television series, Stop the Music. Stop the Music was created by Mark Goodson, orchestra conductor Harry Salter, and advertising executive Howard Connell.[1][2] Stop the Music relied on studio audience members and random telephone calls to potential viewers/listeners to identify melodies played by an orchestra. Name That Tune changed this idea to a head-to-head competition between two onstage contestants.

TE Connectivity presents a new ready-to-use radio tuner for in-car infotainment systems: The HIRSCHMANN MOBILITY Off-the-shelf Remote Tuner Module (OTS RTM) for radio broadcast reception. The OTS RTM concentrates central radio functions in one place at the rear of the vehicle. This simplifies the architecture of the entire antenna system considerably and minimizes the number of head unit (HU) variants for automotive manufacturers. In a typical in-car entertainment system, the radio is located in the head unit, along with many other functions. Relocating the radio from the head unit to the rear of the vehicle produces a number of benefits. The new system architecture reduces the number of coaxial cables and connections and requires fewer antenna amplifiers. Especially the Off-the-Shelf (OTS) RTM is a very cost-effective solution. The OTS RTM is available in three different regional variants for Europe, US and Global and connected to the head unit via digital A2B Interface (Ethernet optional) through which all audio and control data is exchanged. Keesler's training mission is the responsibility of the 81st Training Group -- the largest electronics training group in the world. On any given day, more than 3,000 students attend classes in one of over 160 courses. Accredited by the Commission of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the group is a Community College of the Air Force institution. The 81st Training Group annually provides training to more than 30,000 officers, airmen and civilian employees of the Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, other DOD agencies and DOD contractors, as well as allied nations.
